Thank you for choosing

Ivy & Park

Adding a new furry family member is an exciting and life-changing decision! Thank you for considering making one of our babies a part of you family. We are committed to ethical and responsible breeding and to raising quality pets that exhibit the breed standards for dachshunds. We strongly encourage you research this breed extensively and any breeder you plan to work with before making your decision. We are happy to help you in any way we can.

Why us? Because the way your puppy is raised matters! We are not a puppy mill trying to produce as many puppies as possible to make money.  We have a home, not a kennel. We have a pack, not a program! All of our dogs share our home as members of our family. We know our dogs temperaments and health, so we know what kind of puppies we are raising. Our puppies are loved and handled every day before they go home with you! Additionally, we will be here to support you through the selection and pick up, as well as for the life of your puppy.

All puppies are sold with limited AKC registration (pet-only). Full breeding rights are available to approved breeders who share our philosophy on ethical and responsible breeding. Contact us for more information on the approval process.

Effective 3.22.22 There is a $35 waitlist processing fee. Remit via Venmo (@amandalumpkin) or PayPal friends and family (@aglumpkin)

How it works

When pregnancy is confirmed, the waitlist will be opened to those who have completed the application and been approved. Announcements will be made on both our website and Facebook group.

After a litter is born, puppies will be evaluated for a period of 2-4 weeks to assess health and colors.  Waitlist members will be contacted once evaluations are complete. Each waitlist member has 24 hours to respond to the initial offering and is asked to make a decision to reserve or pass within 48 hours to ensure adequate time for us to find the best placements for the entire litter. Once all waitlist members have been given their option, any available puppies will be posted.

A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. This allows us to provide the highest quality care for your puppy while he or she remains in our home. The remaining balance should be paid in cash at pickup. You will receive weekly pictures, videos, and updates.

The entire litter will be better checked and given first vaccinations by our vets at Big Springs Veterinary Clinic at 6-7 weeks old. We do not routinely dose our puppies with dewormer unnecessarily. Medicating  healthy puppies destroys the good bacteria in their systems and causes issues. Our adult dogs are worm-free and so are our puppies. We have that confirmed with the vet at the puppies' checkups before they go home.

Puppies will remain in our care until they are at least 8 weeks old. Occasionally, we feel it necessary to retain a puppy for an additional week or two. We reserve the right to act in the best interest of the puppy.

We offer continued support and assistance even after your puppy goes home.
